Rachel's dream school is MIT after she learned that was where her father had studied. Now she wears his old college shirts.

Rachel's hoodie acts as a comfortable shield when she's at school and usually takes it off when she comes home. She got it when on a fall vacation with her family up to Massachusetts and got cold, it has been her favorite ever since.

The majority of her school peers wear straight cut jeans, and she follows the trend to try and fit in, though she finds them to be warm, especially during the summer months.

Back to the Future was the first movie Rachel watched with her father on their homemade projector. The movie had sparked Rachel's father's dream to be an engineer as a kid. And it was the same for Rachel.

Movie nights are the only time Rachel feels comfortable enough not to wear shoes in her garage, partly because she's sitting on a blanket.

Coral Tank Top
With the warmth that the sun in The South provides, Rachel finds it most efficient to wear a light tank top. As much as she doesn't enjoy wearing bright colors, she feels comfortable enough to wear them when with her friends

Usually when Rachel goes out with her friends, they're either doing an escape room or exploring outside, and it gets warm in Louisiana. She finds her jean shorts to be the most comfortable article of clothing to wear that is presentable enough to be worn outside, however, she sometimes gets bug bites.

Worn from exploring her town and going out with friends. She thinks that her shoes still have some life in them, and therefore has not asked for new ones yet.

Friendship Bracelet
Each girl in the friend group wears a matching bracelet. Emma was the one that made the design, and made sure to include their favorite colors, Rachel picked teal. The bracelet is really the only piece of jewelry she wears the daily, but she takes it off when creating in her garage to make sure it wont break, just in case.

Music Sting
The musical sting uses an electronic keyboard sound (a reference to her love for technology and engineering.) It has a simple melody, as if Rachel made it herself. The major key represents her light and positive curiosity and creativity. The sting has little bass to make it sound quiet, relating to Rachel's fairly shy personality.

Color Swatches
The color swatches represent colors that would be associated with Rachel, specifically in how she presents herself. The colors are muted, but a bit of vibrancy shines through. The desaturation of the colors are meant to represent her shyness and desire to blend in at school.
Tech Savvy
These images give insight on Rachel's organization when she is researching and creating. The leather bag is supposed to be reminiscent of her satchel/computer bag that she brings with her to school.
Friendship
These images show Rachel's loyalty and closeness she feels with her tightly-knit friend group as well as their shared creativity that brings them together.
Movie Night
Rachel hosts movie nights with her friends almost every Saturday in her garage after she and her dad had built their own movie projector together. These images are meant to portray their bond and comfort around each other during these hangouts.

The two pictures show the two main uses for her garage. One is for an organized space to start new projects, and the other is to hang out with her friends.
Other Hobbies
When Rachel isn't tinkering with gadgets or with her friends, she's reading or baking with her mother. Her favorite book being "Hidden Figures." Rachel's favorite dessert, and her favorite thing to bake with her mom, is beignets.
