How to monitor your work on Turn It In before you submit it to check for

Academic Integrity flags

FLVS uses Turn It In to monitor all student work against online content, other student’s work and course material. To check your work agains these, these are the steps you can follow to ensure that you do not have an Academic Integrity concern.

Step 1: Attach your document to the assessment and click on “Save for later”.

Step 2: The attached file will be checked by Turn It In. Wait about 10 minutes and refresh your screen.

Things to remember:

A high percent does not always mean there is an academic integrity concern, especially when your work must be turned in using a template.

Focus on the work that you completed. Also, definitions and quotes may contribute to getting a higher percentage. It is best to check with your instructor if you have a question about a specific assignment.
