LOMLOE

To study the Baccalaureate in Spain, students must hold the Compulsory Secondary Education Graduate (E.S.O) or have completed an Intermediate Level Vocational Training Cycle

If the student comes from another country he/she must have validated the qualification corresponding to this stage

17 of 24

Once the students have finished their Baccalaurate studies, they have different options. They can continue their academic training with a Degree at University, for which an entrance exam (EBAU) will be required. Or they can study a Higher Level Training Cycle

OFFICIAL AND CO-OFFICIAL LANGUAGES

The LOMLOE seeks a balance between the teaching of the official language, i.e. Spanish, and the co-official languages, Catalan, Galician and Basque. It gives the different autonomous communities and their educational centres the necessary powers to guarantee their effective learning.
