Linked Learning Micro-Credentialing Program At-A-Glance
- A three salary point class consisting of three courses of two modules each completed over the span of one academic year.
- Course content is delivered using a blended learning approach that includes both instructor-led, face-to-face (synchronous) and high quality eLearning content (asynchronous).
- Educators engage as part of a community of practice and produce Evidence of Learning Artifacts to be delivered and reflected upon.
Educators who earn the Linked Learning Micro-Credential:
- Deeply understand the core components of the Linked Learning approach in guiding school systems toward integrated and relevant learning and teaching that prepare students for post-secondary success.
- Demonstrate an understanding of how high quality performance assessments ensure equitable student outcomes.
- Develop an in-depth knowledge of how student-centered, project-based instruction engages and prepares all students to achieve and succeed in career, college, and life.
- Engage in the continuous cycle of professional learning that includes ongoing reflection and feedback to improve practice.
- Lead educators in implementing systems and instructional practices that lead to sustainable Linked Learning pathways.
