How to help your organization and not get primaried by the FC

Kismeteer - Bat Country - Pandemic Legion

3 of 53

Who is Kismeteer? A terrible pilot

Learn from your failures!

4 of 53

Who is Kismeteer?

  • Part of Bat Country, in Pandemic Legion
  • Can fly every ship and use every module
  • Know it all who thinks he knows about every subject
  • Runs an overview pack in Kismeteer’s Bio, mostly for newbies
  • Was a Logistics full Director in Goons for 6 years
  • Flown under a lot of FCs, almost all Goons and PL
    • Mr Vee, Laz, Vily, Shadoo, Elo Knight, Hedliner, Doomchinchilla
  • Dresses like a character from the Big Lebowski at Eve Vegas

  • All Killmails are a story, and this is the story of how bad I am.

5 of 53

Thanks

  • Akasha Mayan with ideas on this presentation

  • All my FCs for making me a better pilot

  • To CCP for wasting literally 13 years of my life.

  • All the people in my life who put up with my stupid nonsense.

6 of 53

Can anyone switch?

  • Alliances need pilots
  • Those Pilots need guidance from a Fleet Commander (FC)
  • Those FCs need roles filled
    • DPS
    • Logi
    • Tackle
    • Support
  • Try to pick two roles to specialize in!

7 of 53

Why do I need to specialize?

  • It takes far less time to train it

  • You do the job a lot better

  • You can be counted on doing it regularly

  • Nearly every single group in the game needs these jobs

8 of 53

What can be generalized?

There are a few things everyone should be able to do:

  • Light Tackle - If you need tackle in a hurry, you HAVE to know how to.
  • FC - Yes, I’m serious.
  • PVE/Industry - Only so you can make a little money.

Once you have these done, get these done:

  • DPS - Always have to do some damage, right?
  • Bombers - Bombers get their strength in numbers.
  • Logistics - At least try it to level 4.
  • Capitals - To at least move your crap around.
