The Fairborn Music Club budget is just over

$1100 per student.

WHY VOLUNTEER

If you volunteer, your fees are roughly half that cost.

Fundraising makes up the difference.

When you volunteer, you benefit from fundraising.

You can choose not to volunteer; choose a Buy-Out payment plan.

SUPPORTING MUSIC IN FAIRBORN SCHOOLS

The Fairborn Music Club (FMC) is a non-profit organization that assists the Marching Band and Color Guard in funding music, equipment, uniforms, clinicians, competition expenses, and guard consultant fees not regularly provided for by the Fairborn City School District budget.

How to Participate in the FMC:

​

• Come to an FMC Meeting, every 2nd Monday of each month at 7pm.
• Volunteer
• Donate items from the wish list (usually food!)
• Donate and Fundraise

• Volunteers set up, collect tickets, prepare and serve a meal, raffle off basket prizes, and clean up the mess.

• Every family committed to working a parent shift

Trailer Towing

• Band owns two cargo trailers
• GVWR 7500 pounds
• Properly equipped full size ½ ton pickup or better
• trailer towing experience

• U-Haul driver

LOGISTICS

• The Band doesn’t travel light
• Moving lots of stuff, constantly
• I have never said “I have too much help”

Pit and Prop Crew

• Commit to be available at ALL competition show performances (10-12)
• Football games starting mid-september and all competitions
• Loading/unloading of props
• Moving Pit and Prop equipment through performance event site workflows.
• YOU GET IN FREE & EARN 16 POINTS
• Like the parade but better
