Automation of Invoice Reporting with UiPath

Problem
The problem at hand is that Finance Managers need to keep track of invoices and know which ones are coming due by a certain date. With all of the other duties that they have to complete they do not have time to look at every invoice to figure out this information. Specifically, needs a report showing all invoices that need to be paid by 09/22/2025 and a purchase description for each company.
Solution
The goal of creating an automated workflow that is able to alleviate the current daily tasks of opening each invoice, coping the needed info into a spreadsheet, and writing a short note of what is being purchased. The RPA workflow created in UiPath will be able to automate all of these steps electronically so that the manager can receive the needed information and the finance managers can focus on more pressing matters.

The following screenshots will show the workflow as it is set up in UiPath as well as the Spreadsheet and Low showing if there are any invoices that were flagged.

Challenges & improvements
What worked well: Creating a workflow to automate invoice information and extraction was easy to map and format into a working flow.
What I would improve if I had more time and tools: If I had more time I would add to the RPA workflow to be able to send emails to those that need to know about what invoices need more attention as well as being able to send an email of the updated spreadsheet to the personnel that need the information.
