Attendance

  • Teachers will provide wraparound supports for students reading below grade level to include home visits, resources at home, access to enrichments, attendance goals, getting feedback from parents, conferences in fall and spring, full body of evidence in Foundational Reading binder etc. to support a safe, welcoming, school environment.

  • SST will utilize a clear protocol for tracking and supporting student attendance which will be imbedded within our MTSS process.

  • Teachers will plan with a deep understanding of math and literacy standards in order to create intentional opportunities for purposeful practice and collaborative structures that best supports students engaging with the cognitive lift of the lesson.

  • Students will have the foundational skills needed to access complex text and teachers will analyze and respond to student reading data to best support student achievement. Teachers will keep a body of evidence that includes Tier 1 data and any Tier 2 progress monitoring in order to take part in 1:1 PLCs every 6 weeks to drive professional learning and coaching.
