Activity 1

Introduction to Dentist

  • Students will use the “Dentist Template” to create a visual to use throughout the Dentist unit
  • As students are creating their visuals, discuss the importance of each picture that represents the career.

  • Students will complete the “If I Was a Dentist Writing Activity”
  • Encourage students to complete this activity (with teacher support if necessary) based on what they have learned about being a dentist so far.

  • If possible, identify a professional in your own network that would be willing to talk with students and share their career experience. This can be done in person, virtual, or if applicable at the individual’s job site.
