Health and safety

Over the weekend we expect everyone to respect others and behave safely.

When Dancing, please be sure to wear appropriate footwear and clothing when dancing. Failure to do so may result in tripping hazards not only for yourself, but for your fellow dancers too. Please do not perform aerials on the social dance floor as this puts yourself and others at risk of serious injury.

Please be careful of your floorcraft when dancing. Be wary of any injuries or disabilities your dance partner has if they are communicated to you.

Please be respectful of your dance partner. We will not tolerate any use of offensive language or sexual harassment (Please see code of conduct for full details). We emphasise the importance of consent when dancing. Be sure to ask your partner if they are happy to dance with you (respecting if they decline) and ask which role they would like. Please do not assume roles based on gender.

Off the dance floor, please dress appropriately for the weather and be careful of trams when getting around Sheffield

There will be a first aider in every stream and at the socials. If there is an emergency, please call 999 or go straight to A&E in Northern General Hospital.
