We are learning:

English & Language Arts: We will be finishing our informational writing as we read Off to Class. The students will be learning how to write a multiparagraph piece of writing that includes a focus paragraph, 3 detail paragraphs and a conclusion paragraph. In Letterland, our spelling patterns during the week of Nov 2nd will be magic E and soft G (use, page, dodge, etc). During the week of Nov 9th, we will be focusing on the different -ed patterns (thanked (sounds like t), traded (you hear the e and d), and saved (only hear the d)) Don’t forget to practice the word pattern and not just memorize individual words :)

Math: We will continuing our work with number lines and word problems. We will emphasize using multiple strategies and proving our work to give additional level 4 opportunities.

Social Studies: We will be finishing our environmental literacy, which we will study how we affect our planet and how we can help keep our world clean and safe.

-I hope everyone had a wonderful Halloween!

-On Remote Learning days, we will have NO live instruction

-PLEASE have the children send in as much raw work as possible. I am only able to adjust our lessons when I know students are struggling on various topics. Our work and assessments are not meant to be a judgement on parents or student character, just informs our next steps to be sure we EVERY student is successful! 🏫🍎📝
