Welcome to 5th Grade! This will be my 27th year teaching and my 4th year at ACA Intermediate. My husband and I have been married for 26 years. We have have 2 sons. Our oldest is an Arlington Firefighter/EMT and our youngest is a freshman at UT Austin. I am so excited to get to know all of you this year!

Although I was born in El Paso, I grew up in Arlington. I attended JB Little, Miller, and Ditto Elementary Schools without ever moving houses. This was due to the substantial growth in Southwest Arlington during the 1980’s. I then went to Young Junior High before graduating from Martin High School in 1993. I obtained my Bachelor of Arts in Education from Texas Wesleyan University in Fort Worth, Texas. I taught in Arlington ISD for 22 years, spending 17 of those years at JB Little Elementary, where both of my sons attended school, as well. This will be my 5th year at ACA Intermediate.
