Verge Skate was a university project challenging us to build a brand for a sports event from scratch. I chose skateboarding because of my interest, and it having a strong culture. I research into the community to understand what draws people in which led me to create my brand values of creativity, rebellion and community. From there I experimented and developed my brand with a range of touchpoints that brought my event to life with a focus on giving back to the skate community and uniting people through shared passion and creativity.

Black Lake Manor is a time bending murder mystery, I read the whole book before touching any design, because I wanted the cover to genuinely reflect the feeling of the story rather than just its surface. The claustrophobic atmosphere and the supernatural tension became my visual direction. I experimented heavily with print techniques, collage and typography using them to capture that feeling of distortion and unease and developed two distinct final cover directions,

Commissioned by Psyked Events, asked me to create three unique motion graphics for a live music event. Given full creative freedom in my style I produced one backdrop visual and two artist specific stage visuals played during their sets.

This magazine project was a personal project from my passion of street culture. After sharing designs on TikTok and seeing interest from an audience I took the initiative to design and produce a 100+ page magazine that explored the subcultures that shaped street culture today ranging from fashion and music to technology. I had to research deep exploring scenes like pirate radio and how they influenced each other. Visually I wanted the magazine to feel unique and gritty to represent the culture, therefore I used experimentation like spray paint, screen printing, collaging and photography. The visual language reached the target audience, and I was able to order and sell copies.

Grime was electric in the early 2000s but has since faded therefore taking inspiration from pirate radio stations that originally gave grime a voice, I built a brand Resurgence FM to revive Grime. In this brief set by studio Kiln , I was to find anything I thought was lifeless and bring It to life. Resurgence is built around three values: nostalgia, discovery and community. Visually its bold with heavy typography and a raw character which visual language reflects grime's era. But my concept goes deeper, to get people involved I wanted to create a hunt, hidden coordinates embedded in everyday objects like receipts and train boards only noticeable for those searching, leading to secret raves and prizes. The idea is to hook new listeners, bring back old fans and artists, giving new MCs a chance and reviving the grime scene.
