Alice Keeler shared a script that BLEW my mind! It makes a Google sheet that shows you EVERY doc in a Google Classroom. Here's how it works:
1) Go here: https://t.co/7uctzhJZ3l
2) Make a Copy
3) Go to Add-ons
4) Choose "Show me all the Docs"
5) Click Star, Continue, Allow, and Start (on the right)
6) Copy and paste your Classroom folder #ID )The folder ID is the string of numbers and letters after https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/_)
Once you run the script, you will see a new tab for EVERY assignment, each with EVERY document sent to students. MIND BLOWN.

This weekend I learned about Thinglink and it was awesome! I loved the idea of taking a class picture and having each student add a tag above their head to introduce themselves to the class. It would also a be a good activity to use to introduce making a thinglink to students. I want to try using thinglink with my students as an interactive way to learn more about a topic or as one of the links in a hyper doc. I think it would be great to have my students make one about a specific animal habitat as a culminating activity.

This document shares some great practical ways to use Google Forms in the classroom. You go to a conference and learn all about Google Forms, then get home and wonder what to use it for. This gives you 9 ways you can use Google Forms and even gives some ready made forms for you to copy and make your own! There are also some tips about creating forms as well as some good add-ons you can use to take your forms to the next level. Be cool - if you use it - give credit. :) PLEASE DO NOT use this to present at conferences, but feel free to present to/share it with the teachers you work with. https://goo.gl/l54WlE

This is a great post by @JenRoberts1 that helps get teachers thinking about SAMR and what that really looks like in the classroom with lesson design. Really helps teachers newer to technology - clearer and more...concrete...than SAMR for them. http://www.litandtech.com/2013/11/turning-samr-into-tech-what-models-are.html

Victoria Olson’s Explain Everything session contained a TON of resources. One fantastic idea was to use pictures of math manipulatives (money, base ten blocks) that students use to make their mathematical thinking visible. These screencasts can be used at parent conferences as evidence of learning or misconceptions that students may be struggling with. Amanda Young (@ajyoung53) also did this at parent conference time using number bond examples.
