OBJETIVOS

Esta capacitación de cinco (5) días está orientada a que los participantes puedan comprender las operaciones que realizan los perforadores de direccional y contribuyan al diseño de pozos direccionales y horizontales. El curso cubre los fundamentos, las consideraciones de diseño y los aspectos operativos de la perforación direccional y horizontal.

CONTENIDOS

Día 1: Revisión del alcance del trabajo del perforador direccional y revisión del conocimiento del grupo a las técnicas direccionales
Día 2: ¿A donde estamos y a dónde estamos yendo?
Día 3: Direccionando el hueco del pozo (steering the well).
Día 4: Geomecánica.
Día 5: Direccionamiento (steering) y el uso del MTF/GTF toolface y del Gyro.

DIRIGIDO A: Ingenieros de Perforación semi senior y senior.

METODOLOGÍA: Teórica-Práctica. Videos, documentos impresos, promoviendo el debate y la ejercitación individual como grupal.

MODALIDAD: Presencial.

OBJECTIVES

This five-day training program is designed to help participants understand the operations performed by directional drillers and contribute to the design of directional and horizontal wells. The course covers the fundamentals, design considerations, and operational aspects of directional and horizontal drilling.

CONTENT

Day 1: Review of the directional driller’s scope of work. Assessment of the group’s knowledge on directional drilling techniques.
Day 2: "Where are we, and where are we going?"
Day 3: Steering the wellbore: Methods for well direction and control.
Day 4: Geomechanics.
Day 5: Steering techniques: Using MTF/GTF toolface and Gyro for precise well control.

TARGET AUDIENCE: Semi-senior and senior drilling engineers.

METHODOLOGY: Theoretical-practical approach. Includes videos, printed documents, promoting discussion, and individual and group exercises.

MODALITY: In-person.

DURATION: 5 days.
