LITERACY AND SU REPORT

1. LITERACY
Literacy program has played a pivotal role in Waata Bible Translation and Literacy Project.
Since the launch of Waata Literacy classes in different Waata regions in July 2016, many Waata people have become fluent in reading and writing in their language. Many Waata people have graduated and got their certificates.
Literacy graduations
In total we graduated 49 students
In 2021 To 2022 we had a number of literacy graduations.
We managed to graduate 57 LEVEL THREE, 12 LEVEL TWO And 18 LEVEL One
In total we graduated 85 literacy learners.
IN 2022 to 2023 we were concentrating on WAATA NEW TESTAMENT FINAL CHECKS and read through. But despite that we manage to graduate 28 literacy learners.
10 level two and 18 level one. There was no level three graduands.
SCRIPTURE USE
1. WAATA JESUS FILM REPORT
Jesus film has done a tremendous work in spreading the word of god among Waata community.
In 2021-2022 we showed three times.
2021 Christmas we showed Waata jesus film at Chamari center in chamari location.
The following gave their life to Jesus till now they are active member at Chamari pefa church.
2. FCBH REPORT
This year 2023 we had training on FCBH and distributed proclaimers among the participants.
The proclaimers are actively being used in evening bible studies, Sunday school teachings and even at bodaboda stage.
