Halie

Sidney, paraprofessional, has been teaching a little bit about matter. I briefly introduced it to Halie one morning and did her pretest. We had a brief discussion on matter and made a root beer float. We did not talk about it the rest of the day. At the end of the day, I did a test with her. Hallie chose to present her knowledge of this topic through making a root beer float.

Mikey and the Peasants: Mikey chose to present to his peers and teachers through a verbal presentation and added some comedy and visuals he worked diligently on. He also chose to write his report using assistive technology to accurately convey his knowledge and research.

-- Recognize that there are different types of energy (e.g. heat, electrical, light, sound, mechanical).

* Curriculum map for February had my students covering Types of Energy and Changes in Energy.*
