How Can You Help?

• Weekly: Ask your child to bring home their journal and show you their work. Review terms we went over for the week. Ask students if they are running low on supplies.

• As Needed: Study with your child- Email notifications about upcoming quiz/test.

• This year, fifth grade students have science every day for 40 minutes.

Science Curriculum

• Fifth Grade Units: Living Systems, Mixtures and Solutions
• Assessment: notebook work, labs, participation, projects, and tests (study guides one week in advance and study activities on Google Classroom)
• Work Folders will come home at the end of each trimester
