Swimming Groups

Walt: Work as a group to solve a maths problem. And explain what we did to solve the problem and what the story is asking us.

To do this I will need to: be able to use my multiplication and division strategies as well as my time knowledge.

Swimming Groups

Team 4 is starting swimming this week. Each class will go swimming for 30 minutes. Classes need to leave school fifteen minutes before their lessons and it will take about twenty minutes to get out of the pool and be back at school.

How long will each class spend away from school while they are swimming? If Room 8 goes swimming at 12:15pm on Wednesday what time will they need to leave school? What time will they get back?
