District Status Report -- Recent Week Report

  • Staff Absences
    • Quarantine: Staff who are not able to work because they have been identified as having close contact with someone that has been confirmed to have COVID-19. (3)
    • Isolation: Staff not able to work because they are seeking a COVID-19 diagnosis or a member of their household is seeking a medical diagnosis. (1)
    • (Fewer than 5) staff currently in the infectious period. (43 total test positive - school year)
  • Students Absences
    • (0 (no school)) Out due to COVID symptoms - either being tested or following Public Health (PH) guidance of staying home for 10 days plus 24 hours after symptoms resolve without medication.
    • (0 (no school)) Out due to a household member having symptoms or awaiting test results.
    • (81) Out due to being a close contact.
    • (Fewer than 10) students currently in the infectious period. (179 total test positive - school year)

This was the most promising weekly district covid-update all school year:

Week of February 8 - 12:

We had 4 total district-wide test positive COVID-cases as follows:

*2 High School cases;

*1 Meyer Middle School case;

*1 Rocky Branch case.

*Grades PK - 6 Continue 5-days/week...face-to-face...in-school

*Grades 7 - 12 Hybrid Currently -- Plan for March 1 (4-days/week)

*April 5 option for grades 7-12 begin 5-days/week…

Board Confirmation: Continue with current learning environment plan (above).

*Public Health support - Physical distancing goal will be 4 feet; follow all mitigation efforts at school; parent education about symptoms (please stay home)
