4The Lord says, “Then I will heal you of your faithlessness; my love will know no bounds, for my anger will be gone forever. 5I will be to Israel like a refreshing dew from heaven. Israel will blossom like the lily; it will send roots deep into the soil like the cedars in Lebanon.

6나무의 가지가 자라서�올리브 나무처럼�아름다워지고 레바논의 백향목처럼 향기로워질 것이다. 7이스라엘 백성이 다시 내 보호를 받으며 살게 되고, 마치 곡식처럼 자라날 것이다. 포도나무처럼 꽃이 피고 레바논의 포도주처럼 유명해질 것이다. 8이스라엘이 말하기를, ‘내가 우상들과 더 이상 무슨 상관이 있으리요’ 하는구나. 나는 푸른 전나무와 같으니, 너희는 나로 인해 열매를 얻을 수 있을 것이다.”

6Its branches will spread out like beautiful olive trees, as fragrant as the cedars of Lebanon. 7My people will again live under my shade. They will flourish like grain and blossom like grapevines. They will be as fragrant as the wines of Lebanon. 8“O Israel, stay away from idols! I am the one who answers your prayers and cares for you. I am like a tree that is always green; all your fruit comes from me.”

Hosea

When the Lord first began speaking to Israel through Hosea, he said to him, “Go and marry a prostitute, so that some of her children will be conceived in prostitution. This will illustrate how Israel has acted like a prostitute by turning against the Lord and worshiping other gods.” Hosea 1:2 (NLT)

The paths of the Lord are true and right (faithful), and righteous people live by walking in them (faithfulness).

But in those paths sinners (unfaithful) stumble and fall.
