In the 1920s Fokker Eindecker created an aircraft company in New Jersey growth with the passenger aircraft which was known as the start of commercial aviation.

Charles lindbergh was also a pilot who made the first transatlantic flight in 1927.

Amelia earhart was the first woman to fly solo across the atlantic ocean. She inspired many other woman which there weren't many women pilots to fly.

The wright brothers in 1906 received a patent for their method of flight control. Glenn Curtiss was another u.s pioneer that ignored the wright brother patent in and refused to pay license fees to them. The wright brother then processed to have a patent battle with him.

This hindered their development of new aircrafts designs.
