The population of Chernihiv is about 300,000 people. It is known from historical research that the history of the city dates back to the 7th century AD and is more than 1300 years ago. Chernihiv is an ancient city. At the peak of development. It even competed with Kyiv. This is because there are many monuments from the times of Kievan Rus. This is a typical regional center - a quiet and provincial town, it is also very clean and green.

PIATNYTSKA CHURCH

Behind the Drama theater in the square, there is a monument from the princely era - the church of Paraskeva Friday, built in the thirteenth century. According to the legend, it became the last refuge of women, children and monks during the Mongol invasion. If you go around the temple, you could find a stone of desire. Put a coin, make a wish, hold on to it - and your dreams will come true.
