• 87 Pregnant Women received Ultrasound Scans
• 5 High-risk cases referred (e.g., IUFD)
• 65 Women underwent Cervical Cancer Screening (VIA)
• 3 referred for biopsy | 5 treated with cryotherapy
• 78 Children screened for Malnutrition
• 11 MAM + 6 SAM treated or referred
• 42 Women screened for Malnutrition
• 7 referred or supported

Providing humanitarian aid during disasters means reaching out to communities in urgent need—whether they are hard to reach, underserved, or especially vulnerable. It’s about standing in the gap when systems fail, delivering care where no one else can, and ensuring that no life is left behind, regardless of geography or circumstance.

Mental Health & Psychosocial Support (MHPPS) Team

​

involves providing compassionate care for emotional well-being—offering trauma-informed counseling, crisis intervention, and ongoing psychological support. It aims to restore dignity, resilience, and hope in individuals and communities affected by conflict, disaster, displacement, or prolonged adversity. MHPSS ensures that healing addresses both visible wounds and those unseen within the heart and mind.

Home-to-Home Visits for Bedridden Patients

​

During disasters and in remote, underserved areas far from health facilities, our volunteer teams conduct door-to-door medical visits—reaching bedridden patients who cannot access care on their own. These visits provide essential health services, comfort, and dignity to the most vulnerable, ensuring that no one is left behind, even in the hardest-to-reach corners of the community.

​

Reaching the Unreachable, Step by Step

​

In regions where vehicles cannot go, our volunteers walk miles—carrying essential medicines and supplies on their backs—to reach the most isolated communities. Through mountains, rivers, and rugged terrain, we go the extra mile—literally—to serve those in need. This is not just about delivering healthcare; it’s about delivering hope, dignity, and humanity where it’s needed most.

Service Beyond Comfort

​

We don’t return to the city for lunch while those we serve remain in need. Our meals are taken wherever the mission finds us—beside the sick, in the open field, or even from the back of a car. There’s no dining table, only duty. We rest where we can—sometimes in the car, sometimes under the sky—because saving lives doesn’t wait for comfort. We eat, we stand, and we continue—until the last patient is seen.

Powered by People, Not by Funding

​

Every one of our 12 volunteer missions was made possible not by large grants—but by the heart of the community. The medicines, equipment, and transport you see in the photos were mobilized through the generosity of local residents and the selfless pocket contributions of our volunteer team. This is grassroots humanitarianism in action—built on compassion, not cash.

Our humanitarian work at the IDP site was honored by the presence of the Federal Minister of Health and senior regional officials. Their visit affirmed the critical impact of our volunteer-led efforts in reaching vulnerable communities—bringing national visibility to the lives we touch and the miles we walk to serve.

Since 2020, our unwavering volunteer work across disaster-affected and underserved areas has earned us Certificates of Recognition and Awards from multiple woreda, zonal, and national institutions. These honors reflect the lives touched and the trust built through years of grassroots action. In 2024, we were officially registered as a national civil society organization—marking a new chapter in our mission to serve with greater reach and resilience.

• Inspired by the trauma of watching his injured mother go untreated, Dr. Lisanwork vowed to become the doctor his community never had.

​

• He began his journey in a remote area with no clean water, no electricity, and no access to healthcare—where hope was scarce and suffering was normal.
