و كان شاول راضيا بقتله و حدث في ذلك اليوم اضطهاد عظيم على الكنيسة التي في اورشليم فتشتت الجميع في كور اليهودية و السامرة ما عدا الرسل. (أع 8 : 1)
Now Saul was consenting to his death. At that time a great persecution arose against the church which was at Jerusalem; and they were all scattered throughout the regions of Judea and Samaria, except the apostles.(Act 8 : 1)
فالذين تشتتوا جالوا مبشرين بالكلمة. فانحدر فيلبس الى مدينة من السامرة و كان يكرز لهم بالمسيح. (أع 8 : 4 – 5)
Therefore those who were scattered went everywhere preaching the word. Then Philip went down to the city of Samaria and preached Christ to them. ( Act 8 : 4 – 5)

و كان قبلا في المدينة رجل اسمه سيمون يستعمل السحر و يدهش شعب السامرة قائلا انه شيء عظيم. و كان الجميع يتبعونه من الصغير الى الكبير قائلين هذا هو قوة الله العظيمة. و كانوا يتبعونه لكونهم قد اندهشوا زمانا طويلا بسحره. (أع 8 : 9 - 11)
But there was a certain man called Simon, who previously practiced sorcery in the city and astonished the people of Samaria, claiming that he was someone great,. to whom they all gave heed, from the least to the greatest, saying, "This man is the great power of God". And they heeded him because he had astonished them with his sorceries for a long time. ( Act 8 : 9 -11)

و اتى ملك اشور بقوم من بابل و كوث و عوا و حماة و سفروايم و اسكنهم في مدن السامرة عوضا عن بني اسرائيل فامتلكوا السامرة و سكنوا في مدنها. و كان في ابتداء سكنهم هناك انهم لم يتقوا الرب فارسل الرب عليهم السباع فكانت تقتل منهم.
Then the king of Assyria brought [people] from Babylon, Cuthah, Ava, Hamath, and from Sepharvaim, and placed [them] in the cities of Samaria instead of the children of Israel; and they took possession of Samaria and dwelt in its cities. And it was so, at the beginning of their dwelling there, [that] they did not fear the LORD; therefore the LORD sent lions among them, which killed [some] of them.

فكلموا ملك اشور قائلين ان الامم الذين سبيتهم و اسكنتهم في مدن السامرة لا يعرفون قضاء اله الارض فارسل عليهم السباع فهي تقتلهم لانهم لا يعرفون قضاء اله الارض. فامر ملك اشور قائلا ابعثوا الى هناك واحدا من الكهنة الذين سبيتموهم من هناك فيذهب و يسكن هناك و يعلمهم قضاء اله الارض.
So they spoke to the king of Assyria, saying, "The nations whom you have removed and placed in the cities of Samaria do not know the rituals of the God of the land; therefore He has sent lions among them, and indeed, they are killing them because they do not know the rituals of the God of the land". Then the king of Assyria commanded, saying, "Send there one of the priests whom you brought from there; let him go and dwell there, and let him teach them the rituals of the God of the land".

فاتى واحد من الكهنة الذين سبوهم من السامرة و سكن في بيت ايل و علمهم كيف يتقون الرب. فكانت كل امة تعمل الهتها و وضعوها في بيوت المرتفعات التي عملها السامريون كل امة في مدنها التي سكنت فيها.
Then one of the priests whom they had carried away from Samaria came and dwelt in Bethel, and taught them how they should fear the LORD. However every nation continued to make gods of its own, and put [them] in the shrines on the high places which the Samaritans had made, [every] nation in the cities where they dwelt.

فعمل اهل بابل سكوث بنوث و اهل كوث عملوا نرجل و اهل حماة عملوا اشيما. و العويون عملوا نبحز و ترتاق و السفروايميون كانوا يحرقون بنيهم بالنار لادرملك و عنملك الهي سفروايم.
The men of Babylon made Succoth Benoth, the men of Cuth made Nergal, the men of Hamath made Ashima,. and the Avites made Nibhaz and Tartak; and the Sepharvites burned their children in fire to Adrammelech and Anammelech, the gods of Sepharvaim.

فكانوا يتقون الرب و يعملون لانفسهم من اطرافهم كهنة مرتفعات كانوا يقربون لاجلهم في بيوت المرتفعات. كانوا يتقون الرب و يعبدون الهتهم كعادة الامم الذين سبوهم من بينهم. (2مل 17 : 24 – 33)
So they feared the LORD, and from every class they appointed for themselves priests of the high places, who sacrificed for them in the shrines of the high places. They feared the LORD, yet served their own gods -- according to the rituals of the nations from among whom they were carried away. (2kg 17 : 24 – 33)

المعمودية هدف
Baptism is a Goal
و لكن لما صدقوا فيلبس و هو يبشر بالامور المختصة بملكوت الله و باسم يسوع المسيح اعتمدوا رجالا و نساء. و سيمون ايضا نفسه امن و لما اعتمد كان يلازم فيلبس و اذ راى ايات و قوات عظيمة تجرى اندهش. (أع 8 : 12 – 13)
But when they believed Philip as he preached the things concerning the kingdom of God and the name of Jesus Christ, both men and women were baptized. Then Simon himself also believed; and when he was baptized he continued with Philip, and was amazed, seeing the miracles and signs which were done. (Act 8 : 12 – 13)
و لما سمع الرسل الذين في اورشليم ان السامرة قد قبلت كلمة الله ارسلوا اليهم بطرس و يوحنا. اللذين لما نزلا صليا لاجلهم لكي يقبلوا الروح القدس.
Now when the apostles who were at Jerusalem heard that Samaria had received the word of God, they sent Peter and John to them,. who, when they had come down, prayed for them that they might receive the Holy Spirit.

لانه لم يكن قد حل بعد على احد منهم غير انهم كانوا معتمدين باسم الرب يسوع. حينئذ وضعا الايادي عليهم فقبلوا الروح القدس.( أع 8 : 14 – 17)
For as yet He had fallen upon none of them. They had only been baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. Then they laid hands on them, and they received the Holy Spirit. (Act 8 : 14 – 17)

Joyful Evangelism
لان كثيرين من الذين بهم ارواح نجسة كانت تخرج صارخة بصوت عظيم و كثيرون من المفلوجين و العرج شفوا. فكان فرح عظيم في تلك المدينة. (أع 8 : 7 – 8)
For unclean spirits, crying with a loud voice, came out of many who were possessed; and many who were paralyzed and lame were healed. And there was great joy in that city. (Act 8 : 7 – 8)
ثم انهما بعدما شهدا و تكلما بكلمة الرب رجعا الى اورشليم و بشرا قرى كثيرة للسامريين. (أع 8 : 25)
So when they had testified and preached the word of the Lord, they returned to Jerusalem, preaching the gospel in many villages of the Samaritans. (Act 8 : 25)

ثم ان ملاك الرب كلم فيلبس قائلا قم و اذهب نحو الجنوب على الطريق المنحدرة من اورشليم الى غزة التي هي برية. (أع 8 : 26)
Now an angel of the Lord spoke to Philip, saying, "Arise and go toward the south along the road which goes down from Jerusalem to Gaza" This is desert. (Act 8 : 26)
الامين في القليل امين ايضا في الكثير و الظالم في القليل ظالم ايضا في الكثير (لو 16 : 10)
"He who [is] faithful in [what is] least is faithful also in much; and he who is unjust in [what is] least is unjust also in much (Luk 16 : 10)
قال لهم مثلا اخر يشبه ملكوت السماوات خميرة اخذتها امراة و خباتها في ثلاثة اكيال دقيق حتى اختمر الجميع (مت 13 : 33)
Another parable He spoke to them: "The kingdom of heaven is like leaven, which a woman took and hid in three measures of meal till it was all leavened" (Mat 13 : 33)

لكنكم ستنالون قوة متى حل الروح القدس عليكم و تكونون لي شهودا في اورشليم و في كل اليهودية و السامرة و الى اقصى الارض. و لما قال هذا ارتفع و هم ينظرون و اخذته سحابة عن اعينهم. (أع 1 : 8 – 9)
"But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth". Now when He had spoken these things, while they watched, He was taken up, and a cloud received Him out of their sight. (Act 1 : 8 – 9)

و لما صعدا من الماء خطف روح الرب فيلبس فلم يبصره الخصي ايضا و ذهب في طريقه فرحا. و اما فيلبس فوجد في اشدود و بينما هو مجتاز كان يبشر جميع المدن حتى جاء الى قيصرية (أع 8 : 39 – 40)
Now when they came up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord caught Philip away, so that the eunuch saw him no more; and he went on his way rejoicing. But Philip was found at Azotus. And passing through, he preached in all the cities till he came to Caesarea (Act 8 : 39 – 40)

و لما اكملنا السفر في البحر من صور اقبلنا الى بتولمايس فسلمنا على الاخوة و مكثنا عندهم يوما واحدا. ثم خرجنا في الغد نحن رفقاء بولس و جئنا الى قيصرية فدخلنا بيت فيلبس المبشر اذ كان واحدا من السبعة و اقمنا عنده. و كان لهذا اربع بنات عذارى كن يتنبان. (اع 21 : 7 – 9)
And when we had finished [our] voyage from Tyre, we came to Ptolemais, greeted the brethren, and stayed with them one day. On the next [day] we who were Paul's companions departed and came to Caesarea, and entered the house of Philip the evangelist, who was [one] of the seven, and stayed with him. Now this man had four virgin daughters who prophesied. (Act 21 : 7 – 9)

A Meeting After Years
و اما الكنائس في جميع اليهودية و الجليل و السامرة فكان لها سلام و كانت تبنى و تسير في خوف الرب و بتعزية الروح القدس كانت تتكاثر. (أع 9 : 31)
Then the churches throughout all Judea, Galilee, and Samaria had peace and were edified. And walking in the fear of the Lord and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit, they were multiplied. (Act 9 : 31)
