Project Website and Timeline

You can find the most up to date information on the Projects and Infrastructure Modernization Division’s (PIMD) SSM Project website.

Construction timeline:

  • Empty existing B54 Cafeteria (Mid Nov’22 thru Jan’23)
  • Demolish existing B54 Cafeteria and Pers Hall (Feb’23 thru Oct’23)
  • Terrace hillside and install slope stabilization retaining walls (Nov’23 thru Mar’24)
  • Construct new facility to replace present B54 Cafeteria (Mar’24 thru Oct’26)
  • Update site utilities through the Transit Hub and Utilities Project
    • The Transit Hub and Utilities Project (THUP) is scheduled to take place in tandem with SSM. THUP's scope includes the installation and relocation of several utilities in preparation for SSM.

A new 47,743-square-foot building that will house medical, the badge office, cafeteria and dining space, as well as conference space. From the town hall presentation and SSM website we can see some rendering photos:
