A Few Preliminaries
Introduction
Regardless of maturity and longevity, higher education consortia are vulnerable to member institution presidential turnover. A departing champion president may have provided the cohesive factor for a consortium. Presidential successors may not perceive or acknowledge consortium value.
This webinar will focus on how consortium leaders can help ensure consortium stability following the turnover of member institution leadership. Topics will include creating community, leadership, the role of the boundary spanner, building social capacity, business intelligence, constituent awareness, and governing board relationships.
