• Copy CAID# into SCOIR
• SCOIR Guide to the Common App

• FERPA Waiver/Release Signed

• SCOIR email must match Common App�email

• Test scores or not
• If sending, are they self-reported or official?
• If official, student must request them from College Board or ACT�
• Letters of recommendation (2)
• Choose at least 1 core course mentor who knows you well as a student in the classroom
• Give two-week notice to counselor and mentors before submitting apps
• Requested properly and uploaded in SCOIR �(not Common App)�

• Resume (required or optional - optional is �not optional!)�
• Activity List prioritized, proofed, perfected
• Activity list examples�
• Essay written, revised, proofed, perfected (650 word max)
• Common App essay prompts�
• Supplemental items if req’d (short essays, etc.)�
• Pay fee or fee waiver�
• Submit on time!
• Check merit scholarship and honors deadline � if planning for these.�

College App Checklist (4/4)

• Transcript (unofficial - student sends; official - counselor sends)�
• Mark as “Applied” in SCOIR
• Mrs. Robinson sends transcript, LORs, etc.�
• Be on the lookout for 1-2 emails from the college with confirmation of receipt, and a login and password for your student portal.�
• Make sure you have uploaded all necessary items to your portal. �
• Let Mrs. Robinson know if anything is missing after 2 weeks or if deadline is approaching.
