Prepositions- Introduction
A preposition is a part of speech that shows
a relationship between two things.
• Location (on, under, in)
• Timing (before, after, during)
• Direction (from, toward, to)
PREPOSITION OF LOCATION
EXAMPLE:
1. Mr. John has stayed in USA for five years. in is a prepostion; USA is a country.
2. My mother is at home now.
at is a preposition; home = house

Oven is a noun that ends the prepositional phrase. Oven is the object of the preposition.
