666 AND THE USA IN PROPHECY

4 of 48

THE FIRST BEAST OF REVELATION 13

5 of 48

Where did this beast come from, and what details show the geographical location of its headquarters?

6 of 48

“And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.

And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion…”

Revelation 13:1-2 p.p.

7 of 48

  • It rose up from the sea. This shows that this power came from a place with a large population.
  • It had seven heads and ten horns. Rev. 17:9 states that the seven heads represent seven hills.
  • The body of this beast was similar to that of a leopard; its feet were like those of a bear, and its mouth, like a lion's.

8 of 48

What did the beast of Revelation 13 receive from the dragon mentioned in Revelation 12 (Satan and Rome of the Ceasars)?

9 of 48

“…and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority.”

Revelation 13:2 l.p.

10 of 48

What correlation is there between the beast of Revelation 13 and the little horn of Daniel 7?

11 of 48

THE BEAST OF REVELATION 13

1. It had a mouth that spoke great things and blasphemies. Rev. 13:5.

2. It blasphemed against God. Verse 6.

3. It was permitted to make war with the saints and to overcome them (v. 7).

4. It would play its part for 42 months, which corresponds to the 1,260 days or “for a time, and times, and half a time” (Revelation 12:6, 14).

5. It was given power over kindreds, tongues and nations. Revelation 13:7.

6. lt would be led into captivity and killed with the sword. (Verse 10)

THE HORN IN DANIEL 7

1. It had a mouth that spoke great things. Daniel 7:8.

2. It spoke great words against the Most High. (Verse 25).

3. It made war with the saints and prevailed against them. (Verse 21).

4. They were given into its hands until “a time, and times, and a halftime.” (Verse 25).

5. It was more stout than its fellows. (Verse 20).

6. The judge would take away its dominion and destroy it in the end. (Verse 26).

12 of 48

What does blasphemy and speaking against the Most High mean?

  • The papacy claims to forgive sins, while in fact only God can do this (Mark 2:7).
  • By being called “Holy Father,” the pope is attributing to himself a name that belongs only to God, (Matthew 23:9).
  • He pretends to be the head of the church, thus taking the position that belongs to Christ, (Ephesians 5:23; 4:15).
  • Allowing people to kneel before him is an act of praise and worship, which belongs only to God

13 of 48

How else can the beast be identified?

14 of 48

“Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.”

Revelation 13:18

15 of 48

In Latin, the official language of the papacy, many letters have numerical value. If we add up the value of all the letters in the title on the Pope's triple crown, VICARIUS FILII DEI, which means Vicar (representative) of the Son of God, we obtain the following result:

What would happen

to one of its heads?

17 of 48

“And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast.”

What happened to the deadly wound?

20 of 48

Revelation 13:3-4, 8

And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast. And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him? And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.

THE OTHER BEAST

22 of 48

Where did the other beast come from and what was it like?

23 of 48

“And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon.”

Revelation 13:11

24 of 48

Characteristics:

  • It came up out of the earth. It did not arise out of the sea (many people) but from a place with a relatively small population.
  • First, it was like a lamb, and then it spoke as a dragon. The buffalo is an animal that has these characteristics, and it is the symbol of the USA. (The buffalo appears on a certain American coins).
  • The two horns represented political and religious freedom, which were guaranteed by the U.S. Constitution

25 of 48

How did the prophecy describe the uniting of the USA (Protestantism) with the papacy (Catholicism)?

26 of 48

“And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed.”

Revelation 13:12

27 of 48

What kind of miracles would Protestantism and spiritualism perform in the USA?

28 of 48

Revelation 13:13-14

“And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men,

And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live.”

29 of 48

In what way does Protestantism in the USA worship the papacy, and why is it called the image of the beast?

30 of 48

“And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live.”

Revelation 13:13-14

31 of 48

What will Protestantism, via its alliance with the United States government, try to do with the faithful remnant?

32 of 48

“And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed. And he causeth all, bot small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.”

Revelation 13:15-17

THE THREE ANGELS’ MESSAGES OF REVELATION

36 of 48

What did the first angel, having the eternal gospel, call all nations, tribes and people to do?

37 of 48

Revelation 14:6-7

“And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people,

Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.”

38 of 48

Three things must be noticed in the message of the first angel:

• The eternal gospel: this is the same gospel that Christ taught and that was preached by the disciples.

• The judgment: refers to Christ’s work as Judge and Lord, and to His ministry as High Priest.

• The adoration: Two kinds of worship were practiced by the children of Adam (Cain and Abel). The worship that starts with man and ends with man, and the worship of God, through faith.

39 of 48

What did the second angel announce?

40 of 48

“And there followed another angel, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.”

Revelation 14:8

41 of 48

What urgent warning did the third angel give?

42 of 48

Revelation 14:9-11

And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.

With what words did the apostle present the characteristics of God's remnant church, who carries the solemn message for our time?

45 of 48

“Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.”

Revelation 14:12
