About Laboratory
Sensor & Transducer laboratory provides students with practical knowledge of measurement techniques and electrical parameter analysis using various bridge circuits and measuring instruments. The laboratory is equipped with bridges such as Wheatstone Bridge, Maxwell Bridge, Hay Bridge, Owen Bridge, Schering Bridge, and Desauty Bridge for the measurement of resistance, inductance, capacitance, and related parameters. Experiments on RL circuit Power Factor Determination, Voltage Measurement, and One-wattmeter And Two-wattmeter Methods are also conducted to strengthen students' understanding of electrical measurements.
In addition to the available hardware setup, students perform advanced sensor-based experiments such as LVDT, RVDT, and other transducer characteristics through Virtual Labs, enabling them to gain exposure to modern sensing technologies and measurement systems. The laboratory helps students develop practical skills in instrumentation, measurement techniques, data analysis, and experimental validation.
