Hi everyone! My name is Mrs. Nikki Breland and I am so excited to be your 7th grade Science teacher this year. This will be my 12th year to teach and I am prepared to make this the best year yet!
As we all know, this year will be different from any other year. With that in mind, just know that we will work together to get the job done! I am looking forward to making memories, and sharing with you all the fun stuff about Science!
I grew up, right here, in Poplarville, MS! After graduating high school, I attended PRCC, then on to William Carey University. I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Physical Education and a minor in Biology. I have also taught biology at the high school, and health/p.e here at MSP. I am the cheer coach here at the middle school!
I am married to Mr. Ben Breland and we have three wonderful children: Jett (10), Marley (7), and Cameron (4). We have three dogs, two cats, and two fish (which will be our class pets soon).
I absolutely love being around my family and friends! I enjoy watching and playing sports. My family loves taking bike rides through town and just enjoying being outside.
