HUMAN CAPACITY DEVELOPMENT

Over 3000 persons per annum have been certified in an ICT related field either by the University of Guyana, GOAL and other Technical Institutes.

The Guyana Academy of Online Learning (GOAL) is an entity established and funded by the Government of Guyana.  Its purpose is to provide citizens in all regions of the country with access to affordable, high quality education and ensure equality of opportunity in the pursuit of education through the open and distance learning (ODL) mode.

Centre for Excellence in Information Technology established.

ICT summer boot camps and Girls in ICT activities, annual hackathons, code sprints, and ICT expos.
