  • If there is an F after the Room Number - You’re in Fuller that block.
  • If the room number begins with B -�You’re at Borger that block.
  • If it says GYM 1 or GYM 2 - �You’re at the Gym that block.

Transitions and Transportation

  • If prior to first period students should be in the building of their first class (Fuller, Borger or Winslow). Students that have Phys. Ed first should wait at Fuller until 7:05 AM.
  • Students have four (4) minutes to transition between classes.
  • Staff will monitor student transitions between buildings.
  • Between classes students should enter Borger through the front doors, Fuller through the Fuller West door and Winslow through the front door.
  • Students unable to walk to Winslow Avenue can be transported by the LHS bus (please communicate with administration).

  • 7 Tardies = One Absence

    • You will need to attend Time Recovery Sessions or make up days over school vacations!

LHS ATTENDANCE POLICY

Students who are chronically absent will not receive individual course credit as follows:

  • Full-year courses (5 credits) - eighteen (18) absences from a full-year class will result in loss of credit for that course.

  • Semester courses (2.5 credits) - �nine (9) absences from a semester-long class will result in loss of credit for that course.

MyCAP (My Career and Academic Plan)

Our #1 Goal:

Get STUDENTS college and career ready

MyCAP is an individualized plan that is developed by students and their parents or guardians, in collaboration with school counselors and educators that will help students:

• establish personalized academic and career goals

• explore postsecondary career and educational opportunities

• align course work and curriculum

• apply to postsecondary institutions

• enter the workforce or school

Our School Counseling program has decided to focus our attention on MyCAP (My Career and Academic Plan). Every student from grades 9-12 at Leicester High School will develop a MyCAP.

Internship/Externship

  • Not just for students in a pathways
    • Spring ‘24 - Over 40 students completing internship/externships
  • Must maintain 93.3% attendance (3 absences per quarter)
  • Must maintain 70% average in all subjects
  • CNA students have automatic externship approval after successfully completing the LHS CNA pathway
  • Innovation Pathway students will complete externships with manufacturing partners
  • Chapter 74 (Vocational) Pathway students will complete either internships or externships.
