This event provides the opportunity for Nigerians to get a new or renewed passport.

NCAQ executives and volunteers facilitate to bring staff from the Nigerian High Commission in Canberra to capture biometric data of Nigerians.

The advantage of this exercise is that it reduces the cost of individual travel to Canberra for this exercise and strengthens the spirit of community in Queensland.

In the period under review, this event has been held twice; January 18-21st 2024 and February 1st – 2nd 2025, serving over 500 Nigerians.

The next event would be in the first quarter of 2026 (TBA).

Some things New and Great

In 2024, NCAQ went on a campaign, and we were proud to receive this message:

In response to community requests, we would like to announce that Yoruba and Igbo have been tentatively added to Credentialed Community Language (CCL) testing.

Igbos and Yorubas can submit applications by registering for a myNAATI account with test spots opened for testing.

In a first of its kind, NCAQ collaborated with Australian Red Cross Lifeblood in a blood donation drive.

This event brought Nigerians to make a difference in saving lives of people within the community.

More of this event will be held in future, stay connected.
