On the next few slides, there are videos of lots of different water slides. Watch at least 5 water slide rides. You don’t need to watch the entire video. For each ride, record the name of the ride, where the water slide is located, and your observations on notebook paper. Use the following example to help you.

Name of the Water Slide or Park: Six Flags Hurricane Harbor, Bonsai Ride

Location: Phoenix

Did you enjoy this ride? What specifically made you like it or not? I didn’t like it because 2 of the slides were very dark, so I couldn’t really see what was going on.

Describe the way the ride is designed. The rider is on a tube. It starts in a dark tunnel that opens up and becomes curvy with lots of twists and turns. This ride has 3 different options that all go into the same splash pool. The tunnels seem safe because the rider can’t fall out. The open parts are safe because the pipes are curved to keep the tube on the ride.
