Signs of Repentance
ان قلنا اننا لم نخطئ نجعله كاذبا و كلمته ليست فينا (1يو 1 : 10)
If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His word is not in us (1Jo 1 : 10)

من يكتم خطاياه لا ينجح و من يقر بها و يتركها يرحم (ام 28 : 13)
He who covers his sins will not prosper, But whoever confesses and forsakes [them] will have mercy (Pro 28 : 13)
و كان كثيرون من الذين امنوا ياتون مقرين و مخبرين بافعالهم (اع 19 : 18)
And many who had believed came confessing and telling their deeds (Act 19 : 18)

فقال داود لناثان قد اخطات الى الرب فقال ناثان لداود الرب ايضا قد نقل عنك خطيتك لا تموت (2صم 12 : 13)
So David said to Nathan, "I have sinned against the LORD" And Nathan said to David, "The LORD also has put away your sin; you shall not die (2Sa 12 : 13)

فوقف زكا و قال للرب ها انا يا رب اعطي نصف اموالي للمساكين و ان كنت قد وشيت باحد ارد اربعة اضعاف (لو 19 : 8)
Then Zacchaeus stood and said to the Lord, "Look, Lord, I give half of my goods to the poor; and if I have taken anything from anyone by false accusation, I restore fourfold" (Luk 19 : 8)

اليك وحدك اخطات و الشر قدام عينيك صنعت لكي تتبرر في اقوالك و تزكو في قضائك (مز 51 : 4)
Against You, You only, have I sinned, And done [this] evil in Your sight -- That You may be found just when You speak, [And] blameless when You judge (Psa 51 : 4)

طوبى للحزانى لانهم يتعزون (مت 5 : 4)
Blessed [are] those who mourn, For they shall be comforted (Mat 5 : 4)

فانه هوذا حزنكم هذا عينه بحسب مشيئة الله كم انشا فيكم من الاجتهاد بل من الاحتجاج بل من الغيظ بل من الخوف بل من الشوق بل من الغيرة بل من الانتقام في كل شيء اظهرتم انفسكم انكم ابرياء في هذا الامر. اذا و ان كنت قد كتبت اليكم فليس لاجل المذنب و لا لاجل المذنب اليه بل لكي يظهر لكم امام الله اجتهادنا لاجلكم.
For observe this very thing, that you sorrowed in a godly manner: What diligence it produced in you, [what] clearing [of yourselves, what] indignation, [what] fear, [what] vehement desire, [what] zeal, [what] vindication! In all [things] you proved yourselves to be clear in this matter. Therefore, although I wrote to you, [I did] not [do it] for the sake of him who had done the wrong, nor for the sake of him who suffered wrong, but that our care for you in the sight of God might appear to you.

من اجل هذا قد تعزينا بتعزيتكم و لكن فرحنا اكثر جدا بسبب فرح تيطس لان روحه قد استراحت بكم جميعا. فاني ان كنت افتخرت شيئا لديه من جهتكم لم اخجل بل كما كلمناكم بكل شيء بالصدق كذلك افتخارنا ايضا لدى تيطس صار صادقا. (2كو 7 : 11 – 14)
Therefore we have been comforted in your comfort. And we rejoiced exceedingly more for the joy of Titus, because his spirit has been refreshed by you all. For if in anything I have boasted to him about you, I am not ashamed. But as we spoke all things to you in truth, even so our boasting to Titus was found true. ( 2Co 7 : 11 – 14)

فخرج بطرس الى خارج و بكى بكاء مرا (لو 22 : 62)
So Peter went out and wept bitterly (Luk 22 : 62)

فقال له الابن يا ابي اخطات الى السماء و قدامك و لست مستحقا بعد ان ادعى لك ابنا (لو 15 : 21)
"And the son said to him, 'Father, I have sinned against heaven and in your sight, and am no longer worthy to be called your son' (Luk 15 : 21)

و لما سمع اخاب هذا الكلام شق ثيابه و جعل مسحا على جسده و صام و اضطجع بالمسح و مشى بسكوت. فكان كلام الرب الى ايليا التشبي قائلا. (1مل 21 : 27 – 28)
So it was, when Ahab heard those words, that he tore his clothes and put sackcloth on his body, and fasted and lay in sackcloth, and went about mourning. And the word of the LORD came to Elijah the Tishbite, saying,.(1Ki 21 : 27 – 28)

حتى تكونوا بالعكس تسامحونه بالحري و تعزونه لئلا يبتلع مثل هذا من الحزن المفرط (2كو 2 : 7)
so that, on the contrary, you [ought] rather to forgive and comfort [him,] lest perhaps such a one be swallowed up with too much sorrow (2Co 2 : 7)

لان الحكم هو بلا رحمة لمن لم يعمل رحمة و الرحمة تفتخر على الحكم. ما المنفعة يا اخوتي ان قال احد ان له ايمانا و لكن ليس له اعمال هل يقدر الايمان ان يخلصه. (يع 2 : 13 – 14)
For judgment is without mercy to the one who has shown no mercy. Mercy triumphs over judgment. What [does it] profit, my brethren, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can faith save him?. (Jam 2 : 13)
