Mobility group of students in Italy
Alanno (12nd May - 17th March 2024)
Sunday 12th May 2024
The French delegation made up of students and teachers arrived at Chieti Scalo bus station at 3.30 pm. The Italian families soon welcomed them. They all went home where they rested a little bit and then went to the “Mostra del Fiore” or at the mall. After that we all went home to rest and prepare for a week full of activities.
Monday 13th May 2024
On Monday we presented our school laboratories, greenhouses and classes to our French friends. In mid-morning one group went to the laboratory and the other one to the greenhouse to carry out the project "Naturally Together" (workshop on inclusion).
The greenhouse group created a flower bed with succulent plants and the other one some posters concerning the project.
For lunch we ate in the boarding school canteen and in the afternoon we went out together.
Tuesday 14th May 2024
On Tuesday 14 May we went for a ride with the e-bikes along the Trabocchi coast. In the morning we woke up and met at the Alanno train station, we went to the Pescara station and from there we arrived at Ortona. We took the e-bikes and had a lot of fun, we also took breaks for snacks in some beautiful places. We stopped at a restaurant to eat and headed home. It was a tiring day but also very exciting.
Wednesday 15th May 2024
On Wednesda we all met in front of the museum of the Genti d’Abruzzo which we visited together with our French friends.
After visiting the museum we continued our tour in Pescara to see the Figlia di Iorio (a famous painting), the Ponte del Mare and the Nave di Cascella.
Thursday 16th May 2024
On Thursday we went to the ITA of Alanno where we had a lesson with teacher Di Nardo who explained us the use of 3D technologies in agriculture.
Then we picked up the schoolbus and we went to visit the Marramiero winery where we saw the process of Wine production.
In the evening with all the families, the teachers and also the Danish guys we had a Farewell Party at the Champignon Restaurant in Cugnoli.
Friday 17th May 2024
We left Chieti at 8:30 and our family greeted the French guys.
We arrived at Rome at 10:00 and we started our tour from Vatican City, then we visited all the most important attractions of Rome like Piazza Navona, Altare della Patria, etc.
Our tour finished near the Coliseum where we said goodbye to our French friends who stayed to sleep at the airport and the next morning took their flight to come back to Paris.
