What is the ‘TE’ form?

The ‘te’ form has a variety of meanings and uses in Japanese including:

• asking for things (please)

~てくださいまいにちべんきょうしてください。

• linking sentences (and)　

ひろごはんに　サンドイッチを　たべて、ジュースを のみます。

• showing the order of things (first, and then)

うちに　かえって、　べんきょうしました。
