Planning project to create a community-school model at four community schools, with ultimate goal of expanding.

Role of a Community School Coordinator

1. Working closely with Regional Technical Assistance Center (MCOE)
2. Working with parents, community, teachers, principals
3. Planning Grant (1 year)
1. Asset Assessment - What are we already doing? What are our strengths? What do we have in place?
2. Needs Assessment - What do we need? What should we look for? What is our goal?
4. Implementation Grant (5 Year)
• Applications Open in November
• Based on the Assets and needs assessment, what do we envision with these funds?
