Career Technical Education (CTE) Pathways increase academic performance as well as motivation and engagement in the classroom. Students gain valuable employability and technical skills needed for success in today’s economy and are better prepared for post-secondary education and high-wage, high-skills careers.

*Dual Enrollment allows high school students to take college classes while they are still enrolled in high school. These classes count for both high school and college credit. High school students who complete dual enrollment classes generally take fewer classes in college and save money on total college costs.

Early College Program

In partnership with El Camino College (ECC), the program expands pathways to higher education. This program is a comprehensive 4-year model beginning in the students’ freshman year. Incoming freshmen will simultaneously complete their high school graduation requirements, along with completing transferable college level general education courses. The built-in flexibility of the program allows students to fully participate in athletic and extracurricular activities at THS. The program covers the cost of tuition and books, and

provides transportation from ECC to THS.
