Transfer Services

Transfer Services promotes a transfer-out culture centered on preparing and empowering students to proactively engage in the transfer process to make informed decisions that are aligned with their personal and professional goals.

To provide a seamless transition from Aims Community College to the University of Northern Colorado.

Transitions Center: How to connect with us…

Career Services You: Classroom workshops, career-related curriculum and assignments, guest speakers, and direct referrals.

Your Students: Career exploration, resume and cover letter assistance, interview preparation, job search strategies, Online Student Job Board, career fairs, career readiness workshops and networking events.

Transfer Services

You: Classroom visits, guest speakers, recruiter tabling, discipline specific transfer events, direct referrals.

Your Students: Research schools, navigate admissions and scholarship application process, connect with school representatives and other supports at prospective colleges, on-campus recruiters, transfer fairs, workshops and panels, and campus visits.

Aims2UNC

You: Classroom visits, direct referrals.

Your Students: Once accepted, students will be admitted to both Aims and UNC (non-degree seeking) and will be eligible for all student services and social experiences at UNC, including housing and dining while a full-time student at Aims. Participants will receive integrated advising, peer mentoring, and opportunities to participate in discipline specific and campus-wide programs and events with their cohort. All participants are eligible for an Aims2UNC scholarship ($500 each semester at Aims) as long as they meet requirements. To apply: www.aims2unc.com

Escorts - Any student, visitor, faculty or staff member needing to be escorted for any reason, simply needs to call their appropriate campus security number.
