Technology Used :

  • Mirrors to reflect and concentrate sunlight onto a receiver.
  • Generate electricity using Steam Generator to rotate Turbine.

Description of Idea :

  • Increasing rate of Electricity Bills.
  • Lack of Fossil Fuels causing increase in various material like petroleum .
  • To store Solar Energy in the form thermal energy.
  • To protect biodiversity which is affected by hydro power plant.

Problem Statement and its Solution

Problem Statement

    • Lack of fossils fuels like coal, petroleum, etc.

    • Electricity Shortage

    • Polluting land, rivers, canals and also causing health problems due to sewage water.

    • Solar panels are expensive and can not be recycled after a long time of used.

    • Smoke from thermal plant cause various air pollution and health problem.

  • Renewable energy (No requirements of fossils fuel)

  • 24 hours availability of electricity.

  • Using sewage water which reduce land pollution, rivers, canals, and various health problem.

  • Replacing solar panels with mirrors.

  • Zero emission of smoke.

Applications

  • We will apply this project in those areas where lack of electricity is present like Gurgaon. ( Demand is of 9000MW with the supply short by 1500MW )

  • For more productive output we will implement our project at those places where high amount of Heat and Sunlight is present like Rajasthan.

( A positive point for us is Rajasthan is the biggest State of India )

  • The Electricity produced through our Plant can be used by any one in this country like Factories , Home supply , Government agencies etc.

  •  Parabolic trough modules will have between 20 and 40 mirrors mounted to a single space frame module.

  • The mirrors are typically 4 – 5 mm thick and are mounted to the structural frame with bolted connections.

  • A UV-stabilized mirror film laminated onto an aluminum substrate  provides a reflectance of about 94%. The weight of the modern reflective surface is about 3.5 kg/m2 versus 10 kg/m2 for glass mirrors and allows for a lower initial cost.

  • Thermal oils have a maximum temperature limit of around 400 °C

  • 1st   | Spain – 2.3 GW in 707.5 Hectares.

    2nd | U.S. - 1.5 GW

    3rd | China-570 MW

  • Future fulfillment, the highest time-consumption of electricity in India in 2022 is projected to be around 800GW. This is almost double the current electricity consumption of about 400GW in 2020.

  • It is estimated that the Sunlight reaching the Earth in 1.5 hours can meet the annual global energy consumption. It means that even if solar system are installed in a relatively smaller area, it can meet the global requirements.
