What to Post on Feed vs. What to Post on Story

9

Instagram Feed

  • Evergreen – posts stay in your profile forever
  • More polished
  • Curated content that’s planned out in advance

Instagram Stories

  • Fleeting – posts disappear after 24 hours
  • Less polished
  • “In the moment” and “off the cuff” content – creates feeling of authenticity and humanizes the brand

Use Instagram Stories to Drive People to Your Page

10

  • Screenshot your feed and share in your story to announce a new post.
  • NOTE – Don’t overuse! Save this for your BEST, MOST EXCITING new content (ex: new testimonial videos).

  • If you’re promoting a challenge or a trial class, use a “link in bio” sticker to encourage people to visit your page and click on the link there.

12

  • Establish a Hashtag for your center (ex: #THEMAXOFBRICK) and write it on the mirrors.
  • Encourage members to use your hashtag when they post.

  • Write your Instagram handle on the mirrors.
  • Encourage members to tag your page when they post.

  • Resharing the content that you’re tagged in on a regular basis will encourage more people to start sharing and tagging – they’ll want to get in on the action!
