Malpractice

Collusion: How to avoid it…

  • Discuss your work with others, but don’t give anyone a hard copy, and under no circumstances whatsoever give anyone an electronic copy.

Plagiarism: How to avoid it…

  • You must reference your sources

AND

  • You must make it clear which words are not your own (quotations)

AND

  • No extensive quotes; no very close paraphrasing: no use of AI and representing as your own

Both result in no grade for the subject/component concerned and hence no Diploma for that session☹

Consequences

You may lose the option of receiving the full diploma and being able to test in a subject this May if:

  • ANY internal or external requirements were not completed on time

  • If this happens there is no refund in the costs of the exams!
