Where EA comes from, what it is and why it still exists!

  • 1995 the vision�Kenneth Andreasson (JCI Sweden NP 1994) & Stefan Thorberg (1995)
  • 1996 JCI European Academy is born!�The first Academy is delivered for incoming local presidents from JCI Europe and gets recognized by JCI as an official academy,
  • Since then�it has been a JCI Sweden project in every single year!�(except for 3 years, in the 90s and 2020)

→ A project run by JCI members for JCI members

The process

Who, when, and what?

Delegates’ eligibility

  • Incoming Local Presidents (LP) or candidates for LP in next election
  • Proficiency in English, and willing to serve JCI more than 3 years
  • Preferred younger than 37 years old
  • Mandatory to participate in all modules to graduate

JCI National Organisation:

  • Gets 5-8 guaranteed places for candidates (max 8-10 seats/country)
  • Has to prioritize and nominate candidates from its country
  • Deadline for guaranteed places is April 15th (invitation of reserves starts).

Earlybird fee approx 550 EUR (no later than 16 May)

Notice date + 11-25 days

Standard fee approx. 600 EUR (no later than 7 June)
