EB Cidade Sol

The Cidade Sol Urbanization serves as a dormitory for many families who work in Lisbon and where many immigrants from Africa and Brazil are concentrated.

Next to this urbanization, there is the Quinta da Mina neighborhood, where the other ethnic population groups (gypsies) were mainly rehoused.

The vast majority of families have very low levels of education, and most have not completed the 1st cycle of basic education.

The families from Africa and Brazil do not have their legal status process regularized.

Unemployment seems to be one of their greatest vulnerabilities and most families are covered by the Social Integration Income.
