Costs and Contacts

The ticket price is £16 paid to the shop. This covers your entry to the tournament and prizes. The initial ticket allocation is only for 24 spaces.

10:00- 10:20 Shop Opens & Registration

10:20- 10:30: Event Breifing and Game 1 Table Allocation

10:30 - 12:45 : Game 1

12:45 Lunch : various food establishments are available

13:30 - 15:45 : Game 2

16::00 - 18:15 : Game 3

18:20 : Prize giving

18:30: Event Ends

Rosters

Use the link to the roster maker to create your team:

Make a copy of the roster maker in google sheets (a free program) and fill it in then use the share button at the top to return it to aldershotbloodbowl@gmail.com

We require a copy of your roster a minimum of two days, preferably a week, before the tournament so that they can be checked by the TO

Your roster sheet has dropdowns for skills and gives values for skills your player can use. Whilst it allows skills to be picked you cannot use the TO does not so please don't pick them! This will greatly assist in getting the tournament started on time.

Team Building

Teams will be issued a budget and a skill allocation for the event depending on which tier they are in. The tiers are as follows

Non Stunty Teams

Tier 1: Amazons, Necromantic Horror, Old World Alliance, Wood Elves, Lizards

Tier 2: High Elves, Nurgle, Orks, Skaven, Tomb Kings, Vampires, Underworld Denizens, Shambling Undead.

Tier 3: Black Orks, Bretonians, Chaos Dwarfs, Dark Elves, Humans, Imperial Nobility, Elven Union

Tier 4: Chaos Chosen, Chaos Renagades, Dwarfs, Khorne,

Each Team will need to build a roster with the following Teir criteria

So for example a Nurgle coach can pick either 6 skills of which 1 can be secondary.

No stacking is permitted

No star players are permitted.

No more than 4 elite skills.

Stunty Teams

Stunty teams will follow a slightly different set of skill packs and rules.

Stunty Tiers

Tier 1: Goblins, Ogres, Snotlings, Gnomes

Tier 2: Halflings

They will follow the following criteria

Example: A Goblin coach can take 8 skills of which 2 can be secondary.

For Stunty teams, they are allowed star players but only stars up to the value of 120tv and have 11 players before they can add a star.

Any amount of Assistent Coaches and Cheerleaders.

0-1 Team Mascot - 25,000 gold pieces

0-1 Weather Mage - 25,000 gold pieces

0-2 Blitzer’s Best Kegs - 50,000 gold pieces

0-3 Bribes (0-6 for teams with Bribery and Corruption special rule) - 100,000 gold pieces

0-1 Mortuary Assistant - 100,000 gold pieces (teams with Masters of Undeath special rule only)

0-1 Plague Doctor - 100,000 gold pieces (teams with the favoured of Nurgle special rule only)

0-1 Riotous Rookies - 150,000 gold pieces (teams with low cost linemen special rule only)

0-1 Halfling Master chef - 300,000 gold pieces (100,000 gold pieces for halfing teams)

Scoring

The tournament consists of three rounds in a standard Swiss-style resurrection format.

The full 2022 NAF guidance is being followed.

Point scoring

3 points - win

1 point - draw

0 points - loss

Tiebreakers will be TD differential, CAS differential, total TDs then total CAS.

In the event of a concession, the non-conceding player will be assigned a 2:0 win regardless of the score at that point (unless already better than that), Note that concessions are frowned upon in table top play.

Tournament clarifications:

  • We will be using current errata from GW.
  • For Norse you must choose alignment 'Old World Classic' or 'Chosen of khorne'
  • All stalling rules are in effect for this event

Each Coach can only win one award to ensure prizes go to as many people as possible except for the following exceptions: Best Painted & Best Sportsmanship Award

Dice & Equipment

You will need the following to play in the event.

A fully painted team with skills and positional players being clearly identifiable

Pitch, dugout, templates, and dice

Chess Clock (only if you feel it is needed)

• Make clear what each face of your dice means if they are not ‘standard’
