Martin Cooper, an American engineer, is considered to be the "father of the cell phone".

The reason a cell phone was created...

Cooper knew that people needed the freedom of anytime, anywhere telephony.

Personal telephone is something that would represent an individual so you could assign a number.

People want to talk to other people -

not to a house, or an office, or a car.

The day it was created...

The first mobile phone Motorola was presented on April 3, 1973.

The first phone was made in 90 days.

Parameters of the first cell phone

The phone Cooper used weighed 1.1kg and measured in at 228.6x127x44.4mm.

With this prototype device, you got 30 minutes of talk-time and it took around 10 hours to charge.

First commercial mobile phone...

In 1983, Motorola released its first commercial mobile phone, known as the Motorola DynaTAC 8000X.

The handset offered 30 minutes of talk-time, six hours standby, and could store 30 phone numbers.

It also cost £2639 .

My first mobile phone that I can remember was the Nokia C3-00. It was first my father’s phone but my parents gave it to me as a present on my 12th birthday.

I used to play many games for it, and also I had Whatsapp, but it was not as fun and good as the ones that we have nowadays. Here is a picture of it:

My first cell phone

When I was 4 years old my first cell phone was Nokia 3310. I liked this phone because there was one game and I played it when I was bored. That game was called “Snake”.

My parent gave my this phone,

because he wanted to shut me

up. :D

The old one...

Motorola-m3888 was my first cellphone, I remember it was blue and little with a weird battery. I got my phone when I was seven years old. I was so happy I never used it to play games, though.

I mostly used it to call my godfather and annoy him till he wouldn’t pick the phone anymore. And I just called everybody to test and mess around till I got bored.
