For the past month, students have been working hard on creating a project on the inner workings of the human body. Here are there findings. ENJOY!

Digestive System

Mouth
This is the mouth it has a Incisors and a canine. The mouth also has molars and hard palate a soft palate and a uvula.
Esophagus
The esophagus is a muscular tube connecting the throat with the stomach. The esophagus runs behind the trachea and the heart, and in front of the spine.
Stomach
This is the stomach.
How the stomach works is when we eat the food it goes in the stomach and it goes to the Antrum after the food is broken into smaller pieces.
Large Intestine
The long tube-like organ that is connected to the small intestine at one end and the anus at the other.
Liver
The liver filters all of the blood in the body and breaks down substances. The liver also produces bile, a fluid that help digest fats and carry away waste.

Vertebrae
Vertebrae are the 33 bones that form the spine.
Brain
Our brain helps us think so we can pass school.Our brain also helps us think about stuff to do and what not to do.

The cerebellum (which is Latin for “little brain”) is a major structure of the hindbrain that is located near the brainstem.
RESPIRATORY SYSTEM

Trachea
Your trachea or windpipe is one part of your airway system. It is a pipe that carries oxygen rich air to your lungs.
Lungs
Lungs help you breathe, the main job is to move fresh air into your body while removing waste gases.
Diaphragm
The diaphragm is located below the major muscle that helps breathing.
Bronchiole
The bronchiole helps your body because it carries air into your lungs.

The heart is really a muscle. You need a heart to survive.

Tendons are tissues that hold together the muscles to bones.

You will find cartilage in your nose and ears and in every joint in your body.

Tough bands of tissue that hold your bones together.
